Found an old poem I wrote three years ago. Thought I’d share it here.
ORCHID FALLEN
Our love is like
an orchid fallen
crumpled buds and
scattered pollen
satin petals
shriveled and pale
so, sad, so stale.
Our love is like
an orchid fallen
wilted stems and
scattered pollen
rotting roots
dried and twisted
so pitiful, so dead.
Our love is like
an orchid fallen
so barren, so stripped down,
so scorched brown, so disgraced
why’d she kill us in the first place?
JACKIE WANG
Your work is beautiful. Your (background) story is amazing. Your character, your resilience, is outstanding beyond a doubt. Whatever it is, you don’t let the world crash down on your ideals.

I just wanted to say how inspiring you are, just reading through your posts. (Don’t worry, this is not a suicide note. I have a new perspective on things because of you, but from any mental disorders.)
Hopefully, this message makes your day just a little more meaningful. Keep at it. And best of luck.
